OK, i may be wrong.. I have 3 huge eggs that are white, waxy looking.. turned up in the nest boxes! I gather 2x a day right now. Are they duck.. Muscovy or maybe the CX? I moved my ducks tonight so we will see who does what! LOL exciting! :D

Thanks for the info. I am used to the broad breasted variety and decided to try the WH because they are a decent sized bird + they can naturally reproduce. Plus a turkey that weighs 38 lbs going into the oven is just too big. :)
I plan on starting my Winter batch of Cornish Cross in January. with a second batch started in October. I've picked these months mostly because butcher days will be mostly fly and meat bee free (especially meat bee free!). It was no fun in late October fighting the meat bees for my chickens. :)
Hi! I have White Hollands also and am wondering how big your birds turned out? Mine were 6 months old when we butchered them and the biggest was only 12 lbs. I'm hoping that they were just too young. I kept a tom and 2 hens for breeding next years Turkeys.
