    Runny Droppings...EWW!

My Vorwerk chick is now 3 weeks old but last week for about 3 days she had the same problem but it just cleared up overnight! Make sure her bottom is clean and a little dab of sunflower oil can make sure no poop gets stuck to reduce the risk of pasty butt. Good luck!

What does everybody use for their chick brooders.

I use an indoor guinea pig/rabbit cage that i got on ebat for £10. It's perfect. Front opening so they dont get spooked as easily. A heat lamp reflector can be placed ontop so no need to hang it. Fab.

I think the Cochins are maybe 10/12 days and the others about 5 days. I have 4 14 day old chicks and they look a bit bigger and more feathered than yours. Hope I've helped! But I'm also new to this so don't take my word for it! Good luck with your chooks!
