    The chicks are 5 weeks old now. Any ideas on gender from the combs? The light sussex is the biggest and out of the two speckled the first picture posted is the smaller one x

    I have one light sussex and 2 speckled sussex. 4 weeks old. When I looked at the wings at 2-3 days only I thought they were pullets but now I'm not so sure. Anyone more experienced able to tell from the photos. I can't seem to get a better one as they are very flighty and won't stay still x

    Thank you this has helped so much. Ill open the run each day and if she comes out then ill leave her out. I have to shut it as the chicks too small to be with other two hens yet. I think one of them would be a bit too aggressive towards them x
