My call ducks had a duckling which came out today for the first time but has immediately gone missing and has been missing all morning. A friend said the mums sometimes hide them to keep them safe but that doesn't sound right to me. Does anyone know if they do? Thanks. Julie

My calls ducks had a duckling which came out today for the first time and has been missing all morning. A friend said sometimes the mum hides them to keep them safe but that doesn't sound right to me. Can anyone tell me if that might be the case or if something may have eaten it? Thanks. Julie
