Before Christmas we purchased a turkey as a pet, but I've gone out there today and when I go to touch her she lays down un willing to move or stand on her feet, with her wings out, and shaking? I'm not sure if something has spooked her, can anyone help?
This chick hatched 2 days ago, and isn't walking on his right foot, it seems to have gone a slightly different colour aswell. So I'm not feeling hopeful, he's making a hard patch in the back of his leg, so I've just put a bit of fabric round it to hopefully stop the pain, but the foot colour...
My 4 day old chick was hatched weak, and struggles to eat much, I'm which case we a syringe feeding her a little, I've noticed that when she sleeps their is a clicking noise? An respiratory infection maybe? Thanks
We had a guinea fowl chick hatch in our incubator two days ago, it was very weak and I'm surprised she pulled through but now she can't stand, it seems like she had tendon damage to one of her legs as she falls to one side and can't get up from it.. I'm trying to help her walk and keep her on...
My duck eggs are a few days over due, and only 2 have hatched so far, the first one had a small cord still attached to the egg and him, which absorbed the next day, but the second one hasn't absorbed his yet and it's starting to smell, it's got a lump on his bit of the cord which is more red...
I've got some duck eggs that are 28 days today, they all have their air sack, but one is tapping in the shell
Do they pop their air sack before they hatch? And the one that's tapping how long do you thing I've got left?
This is my first incubation lot, so I'm not sure what to expect really..
We have 4 eggs due to hatch today, and only 1 is tapping away at the egg ( as you can hear it) there has been no cracks yet, but they still all have their air cell. How long should I leave the chick tapping away?
After uploading phontos of an egg I was told that it had a blood ring.. After crack it there was a chick and blood vessels, please read my post and help

It's been exactly 1 week, they are guinea fowl eggs, the dark patch has grown allot bigger but it still moves around when I turn the egg when candling. Images are below
I've incubated eggs before and I've had a broody hen with guinea eggs. But I've never incubated guinea eggs, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of what temperature they need to be on as it changes on how old the egg is? Thank you
I have a hen that is broody, we have tried everything from hard boiling eggs to keeping her outside yet nothing's seems to stop her going in the nest box, even tho she has no eggs under her. She's eating well but I'm just wondering if there is a way to stop her being so broody, other than...
This is just a question as I've got plenty of mite powder, and the way it kills the mites is it dehydrates them and gets all in their airways and suffocates them. So I'm just wondering whether talcon powder would do the same?
We recently realised that our rooster has a few feather mites, they were mostly above his vent area and on his long tail feathers. However there are clumps of white stuff, that feels like hard polystyrene, are these eggs? They are at the bottom of his feathers only on few of them
I'm planning to hatch some guineafowl eggs, and I'm just wondering how long they can be left outside so they will still be fertile, or do they have to be freshly laid and still warm?
Our chicken kept on getting poo stuck to her bum, in which we cut some of her bum feathers off, this was about a month ago. After looking at it this morning because more poo is stuck we saw that her bum is has gone a red colour, is this nornal?
Also we have another who goes broody every year who...
