I thought so too! We have a Silver Sebright pullet, and she really doesn't have a comb at all. Is it a bad idea to breed the silver to the gold?

Thanks for the reply! The red chick does have a single comb. I'm HOPING it is a pullet! We have a Cochin rooster already...so not really wanting anymore! I know what the chances are though, with straight run chicks! Odds are against me.
