I have golden laced wyandottes. They have been laying about a month. By looking at the pic u posted. Someone was mistaken on her age. She looks to me to b young. I would say about a month away.

With bantams is it normal for hens to b about the same size as roo? I've never had any. I do LF.

My 11 year old got her first birds. We were told it was 6 month old bantam EE's. I have a friend that keeps saying the hens look like game birds which I am not fond of. Please help.

Yay I am so thrilled u confirmed my suspicion. That means I have 1 of each which is wonderful. I thought it was too big to b 4 months old but I was told it is because they r very large birds. The reasoning they gave me that it had to b a hen was that their game rooster did not kill it.

Seven dust is non toxic. I use it in coop nesting box and dusting holes. U can actually sprinkle on to birds they will shake it into feathers
