Thankyou. I didn't know that. Some of the photo's in Wikipedia make it look like brown leghorn do have a bit of barring. Even in some photo's on Wikipedia the hens deffinately have white legs anyhow They are certainly the closest that looks like her and that is what I was looking for I guess...

Hi, My chicks hatched 1 week ago. The 3 that are light sussex X Lavendar Araucana are BLACK. Totally what I wasn't expecting. The hen is the light sussex & the roo is the lav Araucana. Both pure but he got to her so I thought I would hatch them. Very cute little chicks. Is this normal?
