I have 8 hens, 4 Buffs and 4 Reds. They are about a year old now and it takes just a short time for them to clear an area of grass or anything else. I've decided to make a portable run for them and after it's cleared use that area for a garden. It rains a lot here in Oregon so it's not to cold...
