Hello, i am in the Glenlevit New Brunswick area, and i was wondering who might like to buy some chicks in about 2 1/2 weeks. They will be mixed breeds of RIR, EE, BPR, RSL, BSL, WSL. When you receive them they will be approximately 2 days old. Or unless you want us to keep them for a couple more...
Baby chicks going to be for sale in Glenlevit, New Brunswick. They will be all mixed breeds, these are some breeds of chickens you could receive if you are interersted: Barred Rocks, Red sex-link, Black star, Americana/Chinese mix top hats, Rhode island red, White&Black Americana's. If you would...
It is now 5:25pm, on the 20th day of incubation still none pipped. All of the 20 eggs are alive, and they are trying to go through the membrane and into the airsacks with their beaks. Will they peep into the airsac/shell tonight? Or early tommorow morning? If you think that they should hatch...
I was pretty sure the chicks need to peck through the shell on the 19TH DAY, in order to hatch out of the egg on the 21st day. It's always been like that everytime we incubated. And Yes, the embryo's all have chicks in them. So ..... I dont really know what to think. Anybody with info please...
Out of 19 eggs, 17 of them made it to day 19, out of those 19, 6 or 7 peeped on the pointed end. Of those 7 none survived. out of the other 12 eggs, 10 chicks hatched and are doing fine. My opinion on chicks that hatch on the pointed end, They will not survive. the other two eggs didn't hatch at...
Went to turn the eggs this morning, no internal/external pips yet, hoping to see some external pips tonight before lockdown or tommorow morning . How are your hatches going?
I have quite a few birds that are EXTREMELY hard to get in my area: Barred Rocks, Easter Egger, Rhode Island Red, BB Red bantam rooster, Red & Black Sex-Link, White leghorns, Barred Rock Crossed Dominique Rooster, Ameraucana, Metal Dragon rooster/ white leghorn = White metal dragon leghorn...
The one chick will be okay, as long as you take care of it until your marans hatch. But you would have to leave the chick with the mother long enough for her to remember it, so when you put it back with her when the marans start hatching she wont kill it off, because that would be so sad .
Feel free to leave your opinions it would be very helpfull. I am on the 18th day of incubation. but after these hatch i'm going to put standard & bantam eggs in my incubator to sell as baby chicks. I was wondering how much i should sell the Standard size & Bantam day old chicks. Post your prices...
would you happen to know this question: Will i start to see pip holes on the 18th day or 19th day, it's the 18th day tommorow, im doing an incubating method which is suposed to make the chicks peck through the egg shell on the 18th day and hatch on the 20th day instead of comming out on the 19th...
If anybody can answer this question, please do. Is it on the 16 day that you see pip holes? Because i always thought that it was on the 18th&19th day that you start seeing the pip holes.
On day 16 you should see pip holes? i thought that was day 18 & 19 that you start seeing pip holes. Because im on my 16th day of incubation today going to go turn them shortly too see if there is any action. But all of my eggs are healthy and dancing around in there . Hoping to see some cute...
It is the 14th day today that my eggs have been in the incubator. On the first day i put 21 eggs in the bator, turned out that 19 of those 21 eggs were good. So tommorow is the 15th day, and having only 2 eggs that weren't good was awesome . I really hope that the hatch goes well, feel free to...
I am on day 4 of incubation and i was thinking of doing a NO TURN hatch, but would it hurt to start turning the eggs now after 4 days in the incubator of not being turned? Because i've heard of many ppl having better success with NO TURN hatches than with turning the eggs 3 to 5 times a day for...
Started incbating yesterday morning at approximately 10:05 am, so the eggs have been in the incubator for just over a day now. Feel free to share on how your incubation is going, how far along you are, and how many chicks hatched once incubation has been complete, have fun everyone posting your...
You must get rid of the hens, sorry to say, but sometimes as hens get older in their setting years, they will become savages. And that seems to be what is happening to your hens, they will keep eating the chicks at that rate. But you did good by putting them in an incubator, Make sure that you...
