    Ihave to flocks together in one coop and they go together good pecking here in there but it wont hurt them unless it gets excessive.

    Its a very nice coop all I suggest is maybe giving them a run and if you don't maybe once in a while put worms or something they like like live bait in the sand. I would also maybe put a couple more roosting bars in.

    To wash or not to wash eggs?

    I do not wash our eggs until I am ready to eat them. I don't wash them because around the egg the a covering called bloom and when you wash the egg the covering comes off. So if you leave the covering on it will stay fresh and edible for a longer time.
