These are our simple homemade nesting boxes. We made them with milk crates we bought from the dollar store, and dishpans we bought from the dollar store. They are very simple but the girls sure enjoy them. I know they are not much, but they are very effective for our girls.
Here are some pictures of our little flock. We just love them, so gentle and loving. They love for me to pick them up and give them some loving, they tell me about their day, and what they did.

Wow I have never seen a chicken that wouldn't eat worms. My girls eat pretty much you put in front of them. They even love jambalaya lol must be because they live in the south.
My girls absolutely love sunflower seed kernels, they go nuts when they see the little white container I bring them in. They will practically knock me down to get them. But, they don't care too much for scratch feed, they eat it, but not that well.
