New to thread but I love my JG he's a big boy at 5 months he is just starting to do his thing with my JG hens so looking forward to throw a load in the incubator soon. They are definitely gentle giants. Very tall and getting thick even the hens are thick.

this buff is about 20 weeks. Got as baby but still am wondering the sex. Combs and waddles are bright red. And very local this morning maybe trying to crow but maybe just talking.
I hope hen for 2 months now I was thinking Roo. No matter what it is getting really beautiful and big my other 2 are no where close to that big. Its comb and waddle are bright red and pretty big. Thanks for replying
OK thank you I was thinking a Roo cause it has grown so fast and it is a lot bigger then my others I got at the same time. I am new to this bought 5 of them at auction 2 months ago and this one is so much bigger than the others and a lot more fiesty
Filippo looks like a hen to me. I have buffs also around the same age that haven't started laying yet either. Sometimes with the bigger breeds they take longer. I have had some start laying at 5 months and some took around a year. If it was a Roo he would be crowing by now my roos all crowing by...
I don't know I bought 5 Buffs at an auction and this one was a baby baby it sure ain't no buff. I am thinking its a barnyard mix I also think it is gonna stay small cause my others are 3 times that big. Its really red and a black tail.
