We have two Rhodebars and two buff Orpingtons. They are 17 weeks old and both buffs are Roos (crowing). Other than not laying eggs, and the noise from crowing is it ok to keep them with the two Rhodebars who are female? Or should I give them away? We only want the chickens for egg laying but...
Finally got the girls to come into their coop at night. It's been raining for two days and the stay in the rain. Is this normal? You would think they would come in out of the rain but they won't.:(
Thanks, I only have the four.. They all go in and out during the day..one of the Orps I suspect to be a roo but I'm not 100% sure. He/she occasionally chases them but doesn't seem to really bother the m that bad.
