My only thought on having a courier was if the shipping costs were going to be high, then why not have someone carry the eggs to assure their careful handling. Couldbe pretty inexpensive if we found air miles for a gift somewhere?

No he does not Anconas he researching the top breeders to see what he can find. Only one of our members is interested in that breed and he may have to handle some of the costs on them himself. We need to have a sit down on that one.
