My Silkie hatch two chicks from five eggs. She did well the first two weeks but last night did not sit with them. Had one die this morning. Should I bring the other in to the brooder? I currently have a batch in there roughly the same age. Give or take a day or two.

Bought these from a local and they may be fertile. They were to round out my incubator to get a full load. My eggs in the incubator are Jersey giant, Easter egger and NN hens with a Nn rooster. I used the top ten of these in the pic. Is it possible to tell what breed may be based on egg?
I read somewhere a few months ago that Pygmy goats do not require milking. Is this accurate ? I’ve never had goats before and didn’t want to be tied down with a milking schedule.
