    wow!!!! i am just starting out, but at the feed stores here in Fairbanks I'm paying $25.99 for feed. I have seen layer for around $16, but i wont be feeding that for another several months since my girls are just now a week old.

    Yeah, my girls arrived. I even got a few extra. unfortunatly i have lost 9. 5 on arrival, 2 the next day. 1 each the next 2 days. hopefully I'm good now. the worst part is out of 7 red leghorns i ordered 5 have died.
