Yes the majority of the info provided by that user was correct except for the genetic makup of specifically an "Isabel Orpington" and that lavenders are silver allele. Most all Lavenders are gold allele not silver. Isabel "Orpingtons" are Partridge diluted by the lavender gene... so are Brahmas...
lavender x Buff doesn't produce Isabel. What your producing is lavenders with gold leakage which is extremely undesirable in lavenders. Isabel Orpingtons are partridge with lavender gene not lavenders with leakage. The gold color your seeing on the f1 buff x lav chicks is leakage not partridge...
