So, update:
My hen is still having her nose issue. It appears to me that she has scrapped the whole side of her nostril off somehow and it became infected/swollen. I really don't know what to do for her. I've tried compresses, and Vet-RX.
Thank you so much @cgmccary !!! I have never heard of some of those treatments, and those are some products I have never used, so I really hope they will do the trick! Oh, and that pest pistol sounds like quite the weapon. I'll have to try it out! thanks for everything!
@BarnChickyOO , Scaly...
Thank you @BarnChickyOO .
I've use Diatomaceaous Earth in the past and have had little or no success with it.
Nothing seems to kill the mites though.
The lice are pretty easy to get rid of, but since the mites are microscopic, it is much harder to entirely get rid of them. I've been plucking...
I have one Blue Ameraucana hen, and I absolutely love her!
I've been searching recently for a roo as well. I would really love to have more of these lovely birds. :)
I have bantam Partridge Plymouth Rocks, and I really like them. :)
They are very beautiful, relatively sweet, and lay nice eggs.
A very enjoyable breed to have. (Plus they are the cutest baby chicks ever! <3 )
