I currently have 2 male ducks (drakes) that are approx 5 months old that grew up together. I have just been given 1 male and 1 female goose that are about 3 weeks old as a bday present. What will happen??? Will they get along/ will my drakes hurt my female goose. Or will the geese hurt my ducks????

I was just wondering if anyone knew the best type of seed/pellets to give only drakes? I live in Australia and only have 2 male ducks so I was thinking that laying pellets wouldn't really be especially beneficial for them? I'm probably wrong so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated! :D

Update on my Ancona Miffy. Quack is starting to come through at 6 weeks pretty sure it is a drake as its different to my WH duck that's the same age.

Maybe take him to a vet, get some anti-biotics. There was a Muscovy down at a local duck pond that had a cough (not for very long) and I took it to the vet's. She had a respiratory infection and passed away. If your boy has had it for this long a bit of TLC should get him back on his feet. p.s...

Does anyone else's Ancona (3 weeks old) make this random really loud single peep? It's voice hasn't changed so I'm unsure of sex but my WH is already kind of honking a bit. Is it just my baby?

Yay :) I wanted my WH to be a girl. Which must mean my Ancona is a boy cause his voice hasn't changed at all. My WH's voice changed last week and they are both the same age, give or take a couple of days :D
