my bantam started to lay at 4wks after she'd hatch her three chicks..shes laying one egg most days

my hybrid hen has been moulting for a while and stopped laying...how long will this go on for...and is there anything i can give her to help her to start to lay again

i live in the uk and also have bantams and we have colder winters and my lot just do fine...maybe i'll put some extra bedding in the coop appart from that they survive ok we looking forward to our summer which starts next month...hope its not a wet one like last year

Could someone tell me if this is normal for my broody hen to go and roost up in the main coop with my only hybrid hen leaving her 4 week old chicks to sleep on their own on the ground floor in their own little temparay coop and she has also started to lay eggs after 4 weeks having hatch her...

What to you think...my three bantam chicksQ..if one of them is a cockeral and i decide to keep him...would he eventually mate with his sisters and mother, and if so, does that make a difference if they decide to hatch eggs in the future thanks in advance...first time chicken owner

My chicks are two weeks old and mother hen is doing a fab job bringing them up...i let them out in the garden as its been nice and sunny...i could watch them all day...especially when they have a worm and even daddy roo gets in the act... i still dont know wheather ive got male or...

My three ikkle chicks are nearly two weeks old...and one of them is already showing signs of getting tail feathers...does this mean its going to be female or male or doesnt it matter at this stage they move soo quickly and i can never can take a good pic..or they stay close to their mummy

just a pic of one of my bantam chciks which i took last week...cant believe that they are a week old already...well two of them are, the third came two days later...atm they are Teeny,Weeny and Beany and this is my lavender Roo...its a shame that there weren't any lavender chicks...maybe nxt time

like to know this aswell..i have three newly hatched chicks with a broody...ive tried to do the feather test which suggest that they are girls BUT not sure if i checked correctly or i was too late on the days to see...or you cant do this test with bantam oh well just gotta wait and see

This is my Bantam with her newly hatched chicks...they are a week old already...as im a newbie of owneing chickens was told shes a pekin bantam with feathery legs..could someone tell whats the difference between the cochin and pekin as they look the same to me shes a friendly little thing so...
