I hatched out this chicken about 2 months ago. I was told the eggs would be either black australorp, speckled sussex, buff orphington, or silver-laced wyandotte. Also I do not know if it is a hen or roo[/IMG]
I am raising four BA chicks. I was wondering if anybody knew when I could tell if they are Male/Female. It looks like one is starting to develope a comb. Any advice?
I accedentally cut my chicks toe when trying to remove some tape. Will the toe be able to make it. It is more attached than what it was because it scabbed over.
This is my first time raising chicks and one of them has splayed legs. So I have two questions. First can this problem be fixed still, he/she turned a week old yesterday. And second did I apply the vet wrap correctly.
So my chick has this problem where it cant walk right because its leg is behind it so his back leg toes touch his front leg heel. I tried to tape his legs hoping that it would heal and it didnt but to make things worse as I was cutting the bandages he moved his toes and i cut one about half way...
