    To answer your question Nifty-Chicken, the reducer fits the chick feeder perfectly. I only needed metal straps to attached the feeder to the mobile run. I have moved the run with a four wheeler and by hand and it works great. Thanks for your interest in the feeder. It means alot.

    Thank you! I found the energy study very interesting. I have a metal roof on my home as well with no problems. Was just concerned about making the whole coop with it. Perhaps with enough ventilation it shouldn't be a problem.
