    Grain, Beer and Chickens

So I have an odd question? We have a friend who has his own micro brewery and he asked if our chickens could have the wheat after he was done with it. I have no idea. Can anyone help with this? Does anyone know if it would be safe or good to feed to the girls? Thanks in advance!

    Egg inside an Egg

Yes, he cracked the egg and out came a normal yolk and white plus another tiny egg. Almost like a double yolk but it was a formed egg.I have read about it but never seen it till now.

Hi from the Valley of the Sun

Last September we were given a barred rock hen and 4 pheonix hens and a Toulouse goose. All fully grown and laying. With as many eggs as we go through we knew we needed to get more hens. In October we purchase 20 chicks a mix of barred rock, buffs, silver laced, ameraucana, & rhode island...
