Sadly last night one of the silkies died, then when we opened the coop to get it another chicken got out and our dog played too rough with it and it died.

We have 3/4 acre now and we have filled it with recue animals, chickens...
I have been a member here since 2014, we wanted chickens but didn't have the land to have them, now we do.
Today my friend brought us 8 pullets and we are now chicken parents
They are all very gentle and friendly, our grands love them
We also have 5 goats, 5 ducks, 5 cats, a dog and a tortoise...

I would like to attend with my family but I have questions about access for people in wheelchairs.
How is the parking and terrain? I don't need a paved path so much as flat/clear grass or land to ride on.
I obviously can't do mud or sand :P

As for temperament I don't need cuddly chickens I just don't want aggressive ones who will pack my granddaughter.
I have 2 small dogs, a tortoise and soon will have a cat so I am good on lap animals, I just don't want my granddaughter to have a bad experience with...
