MY EE chick looks almost identicle.

I used to pick these and eat them in Alaska and love them. They are also great in soup. We pick them here in MN as well. So if you live in MN they are around here as well! I use them in stir fry or any veggie dish and compare them to asparagus.

If you got them from Mcmurray I just looked up the rare breeds and compared photos. I got a Dominque. Now I am waiting to see what gender.

How much are your eggs?

I candled eggs last night on day 8 and chicks were moving and looking good. Today I got to bator and temp is 110 degrees. Chicks not moving. I know something happened and I blew it but my question is that I put new eggs in on Wed. are they gone too?

I've been checking mine right along because I have no patience and I have good veins in 6-7 some have a dark spot and some are clear with speckles all over which I am assuming is bacteria? I will wait until Sunday to start removing just to be safe. Also discovered a cracked one that I removed...

Can you folks tell me what you keep incubators at for humidity here in MN for hatching this time of year? I am East of North Branch. Chickens are new to me and I am getting mixed info. Thanks!
