I hatched 8 coturnix quail under a golden sexlink. She didn't squash them after they hatched and was a great mother to them. I read this feed before I put the eggs under her and decided to do it even though everyone said it wouldn't work. She did a great job.

Looks like she is leaning more towards a Appenzeller Spitzhauben. She is starting to get a tuft of fuzz on top of her head. I'm really excited if that is what she is because we really wanted a polish and she would be a close second!

After looking at more pictures I think it's either the Silver Spangled Hamburg or Appenzeller Spitzhauben. The feathers that are coming in are white with some black in them. Only time will tell. At least I have a better idea now. Although I am kinda bummed it's not a Silver Laced Polish...
