You all know the story...bought some pullets at the feed shop but now I’m thinking one might be a roo ‍♀️ What do y’all think? The one with no tail feathers yet? Barred rocks BTW.

Thanks everyone! Never owned a mallard before, so we just assumed he was a she until I started to notice the green coming in.

I'm beginning to think Miss Kay isn't really a "miss" after all... She's around 12 weeks old. Always had a different, softer sound to her compared to my two female pekins. She's my only mallard.

We had ordered a few leghorns to add to our mix, and they all died during shipment (they shipped on the day the CDC released the info about the outbreak). They offered to replace them, but we ended up cancelling our order just to be on the safe side and have found a local farm to supply us instead.

I have a pair of two week old poults, and was thinking about adding a pair of ducklings to the mix. Is this okay or a no no?

This is Marshmallow. She's an EE that is almost 4 weeks old, but her comb is bright pink/red and none of her sisters have combs yet... What do you think?
