do you all have on the bottom of your cages? I have 1 inch by half inch which works fine but i am converting a 5X9 rabbit hutch for the quail and right now it has half inch by half inch.....not sure if this will be big enough for the quail poop to fall thorugh. What do you think?

How do you (or can't you)...know whether an egg that didn;'t developed in the incubator is fertile or not fertile. Can fertile eggs just not developed for some reason?
