    slugs?

    Ours attack slugs when tossed to them, but then again our 4 girls eat everything out back that moves and is tiny. The Barred Rock wont eat worms that are tossed to her. She just looks at them and lets the others take them away. We keep wondering if she is a Veggie-tera-hen!

    well i had 2 things in mind #1 weight!! wanted it light for tractor style thats movable so we used 3/8 plywood and tons of 2x2.. Done bought - 8 sheets if its cut smart at $8.00 a sheet (home depot) . - 8 2x4's at $1.71 aa piece (same place but $1 on craigslist in tacoma - around 15 2x2's...

    Coop for very hot climate....

    there are ways. remember insulation not only keeps hot in, but also out. if its insulated then it will stay cool longer in the day. Use the kind thats silver coated, its like bubble wrap, shiny side out. and metal roof thats colored right will reflect a ton of heat too!! white is your best bet...

    What about a cat?

    our biy is almost a year, and he got snipped last month and turned into a kitten again after that, every morning we wake up and he is layin on the top of the brooder, wishin he could swat em, watch the kitty!

    temp, what at and til what age?

    we are guessing they were days to a week when we got them, that was 5 days ago. man they growin fast! so we bene keeping the brooder around 90-95.. how long do they need this temp?

    yes it worked very well. hope that helps someone. i always found that worked in lizard tanks so why not, just keep some heat from escaping and you can adjust it but covering less or more
