    Considering Button Quail - Advice?

Hi, I've been researching button quail quite a bit and I'm very interested in them. I'd like to keep them indoors, in my room in fact. Can any button owners give me advice on what to expect or anything I should know? Through selling chicks and eggs do button quail pay for themselves after a bit?

Holland Lop Starving - Please Help

She's been eating hay cubes since last night. Her droppings seem normal. It's strange. I'm feeding her as much as I'm feeding my other rabbit of the same size and the other one is doing fine.

Holland Lop Starving - Please Help

My young Holland Lop (about 6/7 months) is very very thin. She's skin and bones. She has pellets and hay daily and I give her fruit and veggies occasionally. Yet she's getting very very skinny. I'm afraid she won't last a lot longer if she gets any thinner. She doesn't seem very interested in...

    Holland Lop Color Confusion

Thank you so much for the information. I got her as a pet from a pumpkin patch so other than her two parents, which were broken and solid, I didn't see or know of any of her lineage. It's very probable that she is one of those odd in between colors and that's totally fine. I was just wondering...

I'm not sure what color she technically is. I'm having trouble getting the entire difference between lynx, smoke pearl, blue tort, lilac tort, and cream.

    White Crested Black Polish Cockerel

I've had him separated for a number of days now since I noticed the problem getting worse. I don't know of any places to take him.

    White Crested Black Polish Cockerel

My polish boy has been getting beaten up. If he's not given a new home he won't survive the winter. Much of his crest has been pecked and bloodied by my other rooster. He was supposed to be female. I wasn't displeased when he turned out to be a male, but my big rooster was. He's only 5 months...

My white crested black polish roo is getting badly bullied by my big Black Langshan Cockerel. He needs a new home asap. He is five months old and beautiful. Right now a lot of his crest is pulled out and bloodied from the other male. I have him separated to prevent further injury but I can not...

Why do my barred rocks look so different?

I'd also say your Easter Egger may be a boy. You can wait and see, but that's my guess.

    Peafowl compared to Chickens

I would absolutely love to have some peacocks and peahens, but I would like to know how different they are from turkeys and chickens as far as behavior and the difficulty of raising them.

Any Ideas what this could be?

That's probably just the crop, which is where some of the food goes basically. When it's soft they haven't eaten a lot, when it's hard they're full.

    Balding Cochin Chick?

I have a Cochin frizzle Chick that's a few weeks old and as he's feathered out, his body has gone bald, and his head and break seem strangely elongated. Is there any reason for this? I'm concerned. He acts very healthy otherwise. Here it is compared to a normal (slightly younger) frizzle.
