    The darker egg is almost the really dark color of a Copper Maran where as the other one is a light brown. I've long suspected that my RIRs were mixed although I was told they weren't. Their coloring is a bit off from what I've been told...lol.

    Yes!! My RIRs finally started laying! Woot, woot!! Well two of them anyways....lol. They 22 wks old which I know is right on time but I raised them from babies and the last 5 months has seemed like a lifetime! Lol

    ISO: Bantam Cochins or something of similar size for my girls 4H projects. Must be hens as we are not allowed roosters where we live. Prefer in the Gorge but willing to drive as far as Portland. Thanks! :)
