    Does anyone sell feathers?

I do a lot of crafts with feathers. I have a macaw and an Amazon parrot along with my coturnix quail that I use their molted feathers for various crafts. I wash them with dish soap to clean them. I had some chukar feathers but can't find them. I would love to buy some bulk chukar and pheasant...

    Help - Bald, overbred quail

I have a rooster in with 8 hens. He keeps picking on two of then to the point they get bald heads, even bloody. I think he must only mate with those two hens or something. They are tuxedos and he is white along with the other hens. It's like he doesn't like the white hens, only the tuxedos...

I know there are already threads about this but I still can't find the right egg cartons. Are the one pictured big enough to hold jumbo coturnix eggs?

Anyone raise golden pheasants in southwestern Colorado?

I got into coturnix quail this summer and would love to get a golden pheasant and hens. This spring I would like to buy some and not have to try and hatch them from eggs. So I am looking for someone to buy a young triofrom relatively close to where I live.

    Eggs are freezing and cracking

So my quail are finally starting to lay but the temp has really dropped. It's been about 10 degrees Fahrenheit at night. They seem to be laying late. I gather the eggs right at dark but there were 2 more that were froze and cracked this morning. Are they any good if they have froze? I guess...

    Worming, still confused...

So I have read a lot on here about worming quail and still don't know what to do. I have coturnix, they are kept off the ground, but I gave them dirt to dust bathe in. Do I need to worm them? If so what do I use? I plan of eating the birds, could I still do that if I worm them? What about...

What color of quail is this?

So I ordered what was suppose to be jumbo browns (eggs) off ebay. The 4 that hatched are 7 weeks old. They are darker brown and I don't know who is male or female. I thought they may be all boys but I had an egg today.

Anyone have coturnix quail in southwest colorado?

I just hatched my first batch and they are 3 weeks old. I only got 4 and it looks like they are roos. I set 59 more eggs that were shipped from a different source a week ago. I really want some eggs. Just looking to see if anyone breeds them a little closer to me. I can't seem to find any.

    Help! Quail with bent neck

I am new to quail and to incubating eggs. I have 4 coturnix that are 15 days old. One has had a bent neck ( kinks to the left and tilts his head slightly with its right eye up) since day 2. I originally set 27 shipped eggs, had five hatch, the last late chick died 3 days later. The rest of...
