I've heard of multiple bearded toms and creasted turkeys but I was wondering if anyone has had the pleasure of having a tom with a white\blond beard? Thanks!
I would say sinus infection. Can she breath normally? Can you post a picture? I've never had a bird that had one so I can't recommend anything, sorry.I think you did the right thing, trying to separate the tom from the peacock. I wish you the best.
Im really sorry but It does look like he'll die very soon, I had a bbw hen who had the same symptoms and she eventually didn't stand on her own. She always ate and drank normally though. I had to mercy kill her. She didn't have long anyways. She wasn't broody, she was too young.
Above in the pictures I have broad breasted whites, they have peachy coloured legs and beaks and very white feathers and they get big very fast. I'll take a look at your post.
What quality is this slate? She is part of my trio. I was curious to see if my birds are breeding material. They are from the same hatch; i thought if shes good material then so are the other two. They are four months old.
The trio is splash, blue with black flecks.
Thanks turkenstein25, you're bourbons look fantastic :). I just gave mine yougurt and cayenne pepper. It looks like I tried to paint them white, its all over them. They love it :D
My flock consists of 13 bbw for the table and three slate beauty's. Here's some pics.
My bbw toms really love to strut :) They'll be hard to put on the table. I posted pictures of my treasured slates
