Nana's first coop
I spent the Thanksgiving vacation building my wife her first coop. We are being gifted 6 Black Sexlink hens and 1 rooster that are almost 1 year old. It is 7 feet 2 inches by 10 feet 5 inches and 7 feet high. I had most everything I needed for the construction I think I have a little over 100...- mc1960

Thinking of maybe some Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds, what do you think? Its just the two of us and only want a few eggs, were are think about maybe 3 of each. The wife and I are thinking about getting a few hens, we have an old barn that we are thinking about taking in a 7'x8' stall and making it into our coop.
