Just wondering if it is normal for a chick to hatch with a bit of blood? One of my chicks that just began to chirp and peck at the shell had a bit of blood on the veins from the sack in the shell. Is this normal?
I have read many threads about people hatching their eggs in incubators, whether they are homemade or bought from a trusted website. Everyone has their own methods of egg incubation and I want to soak up as much useful information as I can. For the experts that hatch by the dozen or have hatched...

Anyways I'm so excited for my first egg and hopefully there will be...
