So excited! After waiting a week after getting my very first chickens my hen is laying!!

Naming is my favourite part! We have Matilda, Judy and Phyllis and Lillian (the twins we call Phil & Lil after the twin in a show called Rugrats).

I'm so happy to finally be a 'real' member of BYC. Yesterday I picked up my new chickens and I've started the journey as a backyard chicken junkie! My sweetie built me a beautiful coop and so far we have four gorgeous girls living in it. Here's Matilda checking out her new digs.
