    Yeah, there really isn't any blood, it's just red and dry looking. The feathers that are there look healthy, and the girl seem happy and healthy too. They free range, so it's not because they're cooped up and bored. I'm stumped.

    Thanks! We have 2 barred rocks, 2 rhode island reds and 2 golden comets. The reds are the ones the issues, the others seem fine. Though I'm pretty sure one of the barred rocks is the top hen, if it is pecking I don't expect to see any feather loss on her. She leads the crew around all day :)
