This is my first year raising chicks. I think I'm going to get 16 chicks, and raise half for egg layers and half as meat birds.
If I raise them in the brooder together, at 3-4 weeks do I start feeding the meat birds a finisher feed?
I'm going to get different breeds for meat and for eggs...
