I'm pretty happy that there's no MS in TSC chicks. Cause I just bought some. Have 5 EE and 1 that I think is a buff Orpington. It was in the EE tank but it might just have gotten thrown in. They're adorable! Now if I can just get some marans and show silkies I'll be happy. Lol
You didn't look stupid. You were just trying help us so we all didn't end up with MG in our flocks. In fact it was the lady you talked to fault. She should of know what she was talking about before giving wrong information.
I don't know what to do know! I want some of the Easter egger pullets at my TSC. But it comes from TownLine. Because if I get them and they are sick that would be awful. But there's no where else (other then a hatchery) to get Easter egger pullets! I want them but I don't know.
araucanas are tail lees and amarucana's have tails. There are a few other differences between them. Look up how to tell the difference between them on here or on Google
I have a question about a breeder in Columbiaville Michigan. The name of it is "Duck 'N' Coop Hatchery Farm and Feed." Has anyone on here bought from them? he has marans, I want marans. REALLY bad. I think he orders from a other hatchery as well. I hope it's not the one with MS :fl any reply's r...
Well last time I bought babies I tried to find the smaller ones. There really isn't a way to tell for sure but all mine ended up being hens. I feel the roosters are normally bigger then the girls but sometimes they can be small to. You kinda just have to guess.
I almost bought some chicks from TSC this year. They looked healthy and all, but this tsc is in Michigan too, so I ask where they got them from. they told me that they were from TownLine hatchery and that they buy from them every year! I left because I remembered reading this thread. So I left...
All my silkies look pretty bad right now. They have dipped their crest in the water and the feathers froze . They're not frozen now but they still look ugly. Can't wait till spring (or when ever it finally gets warm) so I can give the ladies a bath.
