Not sure which of the darker ones was the one that ended up with the big comb, but the pale one is the one sold to me as a cockerel. I bought my chicks from a local guy. Combed chick in question is on the left.

Anyone have a pullet develop a large comb at 3 weeks? One of my chicks that was colored like a female has a comb just as large as my cockerel...now I'm I'm worried I have a cockerel that masqueraded as a pullet.

She (hopefully!) was perfect when I bought her at a day old and the next day I noticed her eye was shut and kind of glued together. Wasn't sure what happened until I saw her siblings peck the eye again!!! How can I help her? I've been using a cotton swab and warm water to try and keep the area...
