Does anyone have a couple female domestic ducks they want to re home? My drake keeps mating the chicken hens and can hurt them. He only has one female and am told he needs more females. Have a free range farm and protection at night in the barn. If interested I live in Vero.

Thanks for that info, one friend said he needed more females also. I really wasn't planing on more ducks but don't want to re home these unless I find a really great place for them-they are a bonded pair (at least they seem like it) one doesn't move without the other.

He has one female for himself and ten chicken hens who do not like him mating! My one rooster runs him off if he is close enough. What's up with this? They are all free range in the day and secure in separate stalls at night. **edited by Staff**

They are not sitting on them, one every day. I'm new to this so any information would be appreciated. Only have these two birds, raised together from babies and very bonded. Stay in a stall at night so no harm comes to them, free range in the day with the chickens.

Hello Floridians, just saw this thread, I am in Vero Beach, Fl. East coast. Have three beautiful, pure bred Java roosters that are six months old-free to a good home. We have 28 chickens counting those 3 with 7 Java hens- other breeds that lay brown eggs I sell to friends. Lots of fun.
