She is hanging in there. She is eating a little. We got her to eat quartered grapes if they were lying on top of the grass and we ground up her pellets and think she is eating a lityle of it. She lost weight, but she is healing up so now that she is doing better we are looking good to get her...

Only one of my hens survived an animal getting into the coop. She has an injured beak. The top half is broken as in a peice had broken off. The bottom looks like it may be cracked. She is drinking but is having trouble eating. Any advice? Can I put anything in her water for nutrition? She is...

Oh I thought you had to have s heater. We have only 2.

They are still little and our brooder is high and has a lid covered with chicken wire. I thought you moved the light up and down to get the heat right. But if we need to we can raise it and then turn the dimmer up I guess. We are new to this, so feel free to give input.

Ha, I thought we invented the idea.

Instead of moving the heat lamp up and down to get the temp right, my husband bought a dimmer to adjust the light. It's working well, so I thought I would share.
