Would you be willing to sell them to me? We are homeschoolers who live in an unincorporated area and are SUPER eager to collect eggs but we just have 6 week old orpingtons so we have a long way to go. Also, we bought ours from tractor supply straight run so come to find out we have 8 roosters...
So... My 3 week old orpington swallowed a small rubber flamingo toy. I couldn't get to it in time. What will happen? It's been 10 minutes and there is no distress.
We have 10 chicks and will be getting more in a month or so. What can we put on them to keep track of them? I want to be sure to be giving them all attention. I think I am doing a bad job of keeping them straight. They are buff orpingtons and 3.5 weeks old.

We try to be soy free so when looking for soy free feed I seen corn free. What would be the benefit of this? Is there any other people here who eat mostly organic? What feed to you use? Our or ping tons are only 2 weeks old and going through a bag every couple days because they knock most of it...

I plan on only starting with 4-6 chickens and going up to 12 at some point this summer or next summer. We live in the Chicago area (Indiana unincorporated area) so we have colder winters. Would it be okay to just cover the chicken wire blanket on the run with thick plastic in the winter to...
