Sorry for the lack of explanation. I am just trying to figure out her breed. I can tell she is a pullet. I bought her as a hatching with some other leghorns and can't place the breed. Thanks for the response.
Thanks for the response. She seems to have no comb whatsoever. The long legs and posture throw me off as well. I bought her from Atwoods and was told she was a leghorn lol. Either way she is beautiful to me. I would just like to find out her breed. Thanks again.
yes thats what she is doing but its more just the gasping ad extending the neck. She has stopped the gasping but still very raspy. All four sexlinks are just sitting with their eyes closed and they are generally waiting on me to come out in the morning. I guess I will start their tylan cycle...
I will try the dewormer as well. I have administered the tylan 50 twice now and she was standing this morning but still very raspy. The way she is acting like something is in her throat leads me to believe it is gape as well. Thanks everyone for your non-judgmental responses. God Bless. Oh yeah...
Thanks everyone for the input. I had a polish with the exact same symptoms around 3 months ago. She started gasping for air out of the blue. I noticed it early in the morning and I was working 7 12s at the time. Bye the time I made it home from work she had sadly passed away. I was very new to...
Thanks so much for all your time and help. One last question...Should I use 1cc or less and how many times should I administer the medication? Thanks in advance
Did you watch the video? She is still acting the same just sitting in one spot. I am about to administer the tylan. I am just wondering if I should use the other medication in there water as well?
Okay I found me Tylan 50. What injection site should I use and what gauge needle and should I do all of my chickens or only the one showing the signs of the illness thank you
