Is there such a thing as a nice Goose???

Every Goose I have come across is terribly aggressive! I had a male Chinese Goose that tried to kill me even after I raised it. I now have two Goslings, a Tufted Roman and a Pomeranian, both are females. I must be a glutton for punishment but I really would love to have a nice Goose, just once!

    Bobcat in coop

Ok. We will have to use screws from the inside so it won't be easy for a cat to push, pull, or tear it.

    Bobcat in coop

Sadly, part of the roof is chicken wire. We have to solidify the top with plywood if that's the best way to go. I was thinking motion lights? Electric fence?

    Bobcat in coop

How do you keep bobcats from getting into your chicken coop? I can't have any more dogs so that's not an option. One came through the top of my coop and killed 10 birds. It was horrible.

Can my chickens drown in the rain?

I live in AZ. It's hot as can be but the monsoon rains pound and flood everything. I have had chickens for years and have never encountered anything as puzzling as this.

    Saipan Jungle Fowl Thread

Why keep Saipans after all? Everything I have been told about them looks to be quite difficult. You can't even feed them chicken food!
