So I palpated the area, and noticed that it was an egg stuck sideways in her vent. I got the egg out, very gently, and pushed the prolapse back in. Is there anything I can do to make sure that it doesnt happen again? Like supplements? And what can i apply on the prolapse to keep it moist?

Could he have lice? because that's another way they can get anemia. My suggestion is to feed him scrambled egg to help with the anemia. I don't suggest a supplement with iron because.. Well.. If I remember correctly iron is lethal in doses that would be okay to humans... So... Idk. Anyone else...
I would soak her butt in warm water. Lightly pat the poop off with a paper towel or something like that(be careful not to pick). I would also make sure that you are feeding the chickens some sort of probiotic. That helped my chickens a lot. No more pastey butts.
So I got a shipment of chicks in early April from Murray McMurray. I bought two straight run blue laced red wyandottes. One of them is much bigger than the other. He/she has thick big legs and a comb that has already started developing.
