Three mystery chickens - what do I have?

Thank you so much! It's the last one that's crowing, the ?iowa blue. So sad that the red and white is a boy too. Thanks for your help!

Three mystery chickens - what do I have?

I should have added, the eggs were sold to me as large pure breeds (but not specific pure breeds). That said there are no guarantees are there!

Three mystery chickens - what do I have?

Hello, can anyone help me to identify the breeds of this years mystery hatchlings? These three are eight weeks old and absolutely huge - they are already noticeably larger than the adult frizzles/naked neck/cochins we hatched last year. The black one is crowing, so no prizes for guessing his gender!

My odd little flock - what breed and gender?

I'm hoping you can help me. I had five eggs from a petting farm last May, and hatched five, of which three survived. The survivors are now 21 weeks old today, and I have no idea what they are! None have crowed or laid an egg as yet.

Is it possible to spoil the chicks?

Thank you for your reply! They were shouting at 7 this morning, so I came down and held them for an hour and put them back, then again at 11am, so they came out for an hour and nested under my chin whilst I did some work on the laptop. I've just put them back and they are digging away happily in...

Is it possible to spoil the chicks?

I'm a first time hatcher of chicks, I started with six eggs, four fertile and lost one to wry neck so have three chicks left. They are just over a week old and are growing like weeds, but I'm wondering if it is possible to spoil them? They are in a large brooder and have an electric brooder for...
