Yeah I've been down in daylight today he is very aggressive with my ladies and showing signs of sexual maturity! Time to go i think. Shame I cant keep him because he is lovely.

Hi guys, my 5 chicks I hatched out in july are now 20 weeks old! I'm pretty sure I have 4 hens and 1 roo but I have no eggs or crowing to confirm my suspicions! So I'm wondering what you guys think. I'll post a couple of pics below but I'll apologise in advance for poor quality as I very rarely...

My five chicks who are now coming up 5 weeks old. They must be showing signs of sex now but my inexperienced eyes haven't got a clue. It's a nightmare trying to get individual pics of them.

I was looking at the noticeable development of comb and thinking cockerel. Anybody agree or disagree?

I'll try but they aren't really interested in staying still at the mo. Hence my hand around wings!

This is my 3 week old Wellsummer chick. I am keen to start identifying the hens from the roos and will be posting pics of all five of my chicks in the coming days. I have my own opinions but I am very new to this so would appreciate any help from you experienced eyes. Thanks in advance.
