I love mine too. Many successful hatches. They are pipping again right now! The most I've ever hatched in it - 16. It seems like 24 would be pretty tight but I suppose it could be done. It does seem like there are more and more people out there using it. I would love to see all of us King...
I have hatched in the Rcom mini, but haven't tried the scope. It worked great. Very, very easy to use. I've heard from other people on here putting up to 6 chicken eggs in it, but then you would have to turn them yourself. I would look into whether the scope works on eggs with colored...
First of all
Aussiemom, this is an old thread. They actually found out their problem was a snake. You may want to start a new thread with your topic. It would probably help you out more. I don't have any advice for your problem but I know there are helpful folks out there who do!
Dandelion-
I only used this incubator that one time. It was great. All three of my eggs hatched! I didn't try to change the temp though... not sure about if you can... Maybe someone else will respond to your question. Good luck with your test hatch. Let us know how it goes!
I have that incubator. It worked great. I've only hatched 3 eggs in it, but others on here have put more in and turned the eggs themselves rather than used the auto turner. I think I remember 6 eggs being about the max that you can fit.
A while ago they were on-sale (scratch and dent) on...
I don't have any eggs in it right now. Last hatch was my first hatch with it and I had 12 shipped eggs in it. (shipped cross country I might add) My hatch rate was not all that great. I think, in addition to being a newbie at it, my humidity was too high. We had some very hot, humid...
Ok you guys, I was trying hard to be done until spring. the..... temptation..... is..... so.... strong.... hmmmmm, hatching buddies AND using the same incubator! I think my you just convinced me to hatch out one more batch... When's everybody putting their eggs in?
Yes, my turner clicked too. We loosened the screw on the side without the power cord and sprayed just a little WD40 on that joint. It is smooth as can be now. Also, glad to hear you set it to run at 65%! Mine was preset to 45 also so I wondered what was going on! So.... what are you going...
I checked the incubators controls with two different hygrometers and thermometers. It was right on. Was your preset to 65% or is that what you changed it too?
